Juan's life before the split-up of Merle and Earl's conjoined circus is an important thing to talk about to this day. When asked about it all he will talk about is getting over Dr. Pepper and an unnatural fear of a mouse themed amusement park in Anaheim. He has said time after time that he is fine, but we know better. (look at him, it's obvious.)

After the split up Juan made great use of his single year away only spending half of it in front of a computer trying to sign onto the internet. He gave that up in early April and ventured into that mysterious place. Outside.

Juan was good at making friends by quickly learned how to speak to animals and some varieties of plants but unfortunately for him the ones he really understood were the ones that tasted good. That turned into a huge flop so he then learned to ignore plants and animals. (Something he credits today for his success and failure with women.)

Juan spent quite a bit of time on the road (because that makes stories most interesting.) He teamed up with a group of Migrant workers and worked long and hard picking oranges in Southern California, grapes in Central California and rutabagas in Antartica(I didn't say he knew where to migrate)and got stabbed in the neck with a rusty screwdriver after a misunderstanding caused when he laughed at something that wasn't supposed to be funny. (Apparently those people don't like it when you laugh when someone gets hurt really bad.. and they might die.. Especially when it's your fault.)
